Challenger British Soccer hosts 2 summer camps

July 18-22, 2011

at the Raytown Soccer Complex

British Soccer Camps provide players of all ages and abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger coaching staff provides your child with lessons in respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership. Camp programs include a free ball and shirt and a free British Soccer jersey for on line registrations 45 days prior to camp!

Recreational Player Camp:

Cost is $110

British Soccer Premier Camp:

This camp is not suited to recreational players. It is designed for premier level players and is

competitive in nature.

Excel Goalkeeping Summer Camp registration is now open. We are
excited to begin our summer goalkeeper specific camps in
Kansas City.

Head trainer, Dave Wiebenga, has surrounded himself with an experienced staff that is ready to bring your game to a new level.

Camps are June 6-10 and July 11-15

6:00-8:00 PM

We are offering 3 levels of training:

We have a "mini" camp ($100) for the
young goalkeepers that are looking to build on their fundamental
basics. This is geared towards goalkeepers from 8-11 years old.

The "Youth" Academy ($130) focuses on goalkeepers that want to fine
tune the fundamentals and work on advanced skills in goal. The keepers are placed in realistic situations in a competitive environment. This is designed for goalkeepers from 11-13 years old.

Finally, the "Excel" academy($150) is designed for top level goalkeepers ages 14-18
looking to take their game to the next level.

Keepers will be placed based upon skill level and age. Excel
Goalkeeping is also committed to maintaining a low coach-to-keeper
ratio. This ensures plenty of individual attention.

Training will focus on ball handling, footwork, body shape, diving,
crosses, breakaways, deflecting, tipping, and other necessary
goalkeeper skills. Keepers will also participate in challenging
games like "star wars", goalie wars, pressure training, and ziggy.

The goal is to create a challenging environment dedicated to
goalkeepers that is also fun for all ages
