Independent teams Fall 2011

What you need:

1. Team information Sheet -fully completed with all contact numbers, request off dates.  Please return to office with payment no later than July 26, 2011 .

2. MYSA Membership forms for each player and each coach. Each player new to league will need a state issued birth certificate. Each coach new to league will need to supply a copy of his coach’s license.

3. The cost for player cards is $19 per player and $19 per coach. Cards are good for Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 season.  Dual cards will be $19.   Teams that card through Raytown Soccer, but play elsewhere, cards will be $24.

Individual Players:

        If you are new to the league you will need to provide a State Issued Birth Certificate, complete a registration form, (available from link above), and participate in the fundraiser or purchase a buyout option.

         The division chairpersons then construct teams, a volunteer coach(es) is sometimes recruited from the parents. The coach sets practice nights, times and locations. Locations are usually Raytown School district elementary schools.

         Recreational players will be provided game shirts and an end of season award for first and second place.

 The parents will need to provide: soccer shorts, shin guards, soccer socks, cleats. For the registration fee the player will be provided 8 games with licensed referees.

        The Fall season practices start in late July or early August and games start in late August and go to early November.

      Games are played on weekends, with about half of the 8 seasonal games played at our home fields near Little Blue Trace Park at 87th and 350HW, and half the games played at other soccer fields in the metro area that participate in the KC Metro League.
